I have debated about posting this. However, I feel you are all my friends, so I had better keep you up to date.

I had an appointment with a cardiologist today. My chest pain is not a result of Pericarditis. It turns out that I had a minor cardiac event. (read: mild heart attack) yes, I am only 28. So far, he is certain it was stress induced  (gee, working customer service at Toys R Us during Christmas? who would have thought?)

I have to wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks, and then have an echo-cardiogram and a stress test.

I don't have much else to say, I am still processing.
